My bird, Bella, seems to be a big country fan -- in particular, Faith Hill. She seems to enjoy singing to Faith Hill's "Fireflies" whenever she hears it. Here's an example...
I never stated on here that Bella past away back on November 15, 2006. We're not quite sure what exactly was Bella's cause of death, but she wasn't quite the happy little bird that you see in this video. She was OK the night before (her usual self), but according to my dad, she was sitting at the bottom of the cage when he went to check up on her. (She usually is sitting up on the perch with the other birds or up on the side of the cage to say Hello to you.) So, we already assumed something was wrong, but she still managed to climb out of the cage. Somehow, by the time I got home for lunch, she fell into the gap that's between the refrigerator and the freezer. When my dad found her, we thought she was just in shock. But as I held her, her head just kept drooping down to the palm of my hand. She didn't quite make it through the afternoon. We eventually found a dead wasp near the birds' playing area, and believe that the wasp probably stung her. So, though I had her for a brief time, Bella was much-loved. I will miss her in the morning when I say good-bye to my babies as I leave for work. She was one of the best! Goodbye, my Bella! :(
